eCommerce Partnership for NIQ Brandbank
Consumer intelligence firm NIQ has announced a strategic collaboration between its Brandbank division and product data and ecommerce optimization company Prodx, promising US retail clients help in activating their product data to optimize digital shopping experience.
Acquired by Nielsen in 2015, Brandbank provides digital product content solutions to help clients improve omnichannel shopping experiences, drawing on Nielsen's 25 years of experience in the field and operating in 39 countries. New partner Prodx helps retailers structure, enrich and activate their product catalog data at scale, through a suite of experience APIs and the Aisles merchandising platform.
The partners say the collaboration will allow for faster activation of high-quality product data across search, discovery and retail media. Brandbank's standardized product content will be enriched and structured by Prodx's platform, then personalized and deployed via the latter's APIs.
'This collaboration represents a significant step forward for retailers seeking to deliver more meaningful and frictionless digital shopping experiences,' states Brandbank's Global Group Commercial Director Steve Burdett (pictured). 'By combining NIQ Brandbank's trusted product content with the structured, experience ready data provided by Prodx, we are enabling retailers to activate personalization and innovation at a scale that was previously difficult to achieve.'
Matt Vezzani, co-founder and CBO of Prodx concludes: 'Retailers have long recognized the value of personalization, but the lack of clean, structured data has held back their ability to deliver it effectively. Collaborating with NIQ Brandbank allows us to close that gap.'
