Semify Adds AI Optimization / Visibility Solution
In Rochester, NY, digital marketing platform Semify has launched an upgraded AI Optimization service (AIO), designed to help marketing agencies deliver comprehensive digital visibility to their clients. The service includes measurement software powered by recently-acquired Dragon Metrics.
Semify specializes in SEO, Paid Search Advertising (PPC), Paid Social Advertising and AIO. The firm bought Hong Kong-based reporting software firm Dragon Metrics in December, aiming to 'significantly expand' its global measurement capabilities, and boost the AIO part of its business.
The firm says the new service integrates seamlessly with its existing SEO, PPC and paid social advertising offerings, creating a unified digital visibility solution. Semify says its offering differs from others in delivering traditional SEO metrics alongside deep insights into AI visibility performance across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, and Perplexity.
Automated reporting and recommendations are provided via the company's proprietary dashboard as well from its enterprise API/MCP.
CEO Patrick Briggs (pictured) comments: 'While many platforms rushed to market, we leaned into the scientific method: hypothesize, test, validate, iterate. We ran controlled experiments across four AI platforms and various client verticals. We developed a comprehensive AI visibility service by isolating variables, measuring outcomes, and refining based on data. Our agency partners don't need more vague promises; they need proven methodologies with transparent data that scales.'
CPO Simon Lesser, who was formerly the Chief Exec of Dragon, adds: 'Visibility works differently on AI search platforms than traditional search, so we've defined a new set of metrics to effectively measure performance on these platforms in a way that captures what it truly means to be visible online. Plenty of competitors offer software or pure automation; Semify's view is that the work can't be fully automated, so the platform is paired with strategists who handle what AI can't.'
