Semify Buys Dragon Metrics

In Rochester, NY, digital marketing software platform Semify has announced the acquisition of Hong Kong-based reporting software firm Dragon Metrics.

Semify specializes in SEO, Paid Search Advertising (PPC), Paid Social Advertising, and AI Optimization (AIO), and says the buy will 'significantly expand' its global measurement capabilities, while accelerating its AI optimization offerings.

Dragon Metrics, founded in 2011 by Simon Lesser (CEO and co-founder) and Richard Mabey (Advisor and co-founder), provides enterprise-grade SEO tools with support for Google and for search engines popular in China, Korea and Japan, to clients across more than 50 countries. Features include AI overview tracking, keyword rank monitoring, competitor analysis, content optimization, technical site audits, and backlink analysis. Lesser will now join Semify as Chief Product Officer, leading AI optimization product strategy, while Dragon's engineering team will be integrated with Semify's team led by CTO Brian Sappey.
