COO Dale and Data Chief Friedman Leave Comscore
Comscore has announced the departures this week of COO Greg Dale, and Frank Friedman, Head of Measurement and Chief Data and Analytics Officer. Newly appointed CEO Matt McLaughlin will officially assume their responsibilities for now.
The company made the announcements in a formal Stock Exchange notification, and DRNO is not aware of any detail provided as to the reasons, 'though they are apparently linked to other recent management and structural changes.
Dale (pictured) initially joined the firm in 1999, served as CTO and COO before leaving in 2016, then rejoined the company when it acquired Shareablee in 2021 - he moved back into the COO role a year later.
Friedman, by contrast, joined in January last year after a career including major ad agencies and six years at E.W. Scripps.
The departures follow that of CEO Jon Carpenter two weeks ago, and the sale the same week of the firm's Movies box office measurement business, now once again known as Rentrak.
