RAIT Buys Remaining Shares in Danish Agency Wilke

Nordics and Baltics full service MR company RAIT has acquired the remaining 30% stake in Wilke, a Danish research firm it has majority-owned for three years.

Stine HalbergThe move solidifies RAIT's presence in the region, with offices in Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. RAIT is itself part of STATCO, a data and research group formed in 2022, which also includes mystery shopping specialist Dive and online panels firm Intra.

RAIT bought a 70% stake in Wilke in September 2023, adding around 50 employees; focus group facilities in offices in Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen; a CATI center and field force of mystery shoppers; and a 50,000-strong proprietary panel. A year ago Wilke CEO Stine Halberg (pictured) was appointed as group Chief Exec.

'RAIT and Wilke have shared values and complementary strengths from the start,' says Halberg. 'RAIT brings local expertise across the Baltic markets and with Wilke, we add a strong Danish presence. Together, we offer something global agencies cannot: local knowledge with regional reach - and one point of contact for all of it.' RAIT Chairman of the Board Kaspar Jänes adds: 'With Wilke fully part of RAIT, we now have the structure, the people, and the local presence to be the obvious choice for clients who need research across the Nordics and Baltics.'
