MFour Adds Data Science and Governance Leader
In California, MFour Data Research has announced the appointment of Nikhil Nair, formerly of Amazon, Uber and Adobe, in the new role of SVP of Data Science & Governance.
MFour was founded in 2011 as a mobile panels specialist, and provides the widely used Surveys On The Go app. A year ago it changed its name to MFour Data Research, reflecting an expanded focus. It now provides validated, opt-in consumer behavior and survey data via Surveys On The Go and its Fair Trade Data model. Data from more than thirteen million consumer panelists is used to generate nine deterministic data streams, including ChatGPT conversations, location, app usage, attitudes and receipts, all connected to a single identity. Clients access these behavioral and survey signals via MFour Studio, now with the assistance of AI assistant DANI.
Nair brings more than fifteen years of experience building and leading data, analytics and business intelligence at global technology companies. He joins from Amazon, where he was Head of Analytics and BI, leading the analytics vision and roadmap for video doorbell product Ring as its subscriptions business grew from $800 million to more than $2 billion.
Prior to this he was Global Head of Analytics and Insights at Uber, working in the community operations division, after eight years in data science and analytics leadership roles at Adobe. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. in his new role, he will help drive MFour's data strategy and support the continued growth of its first-party consumer data and AI capabilities, including DANI.
MFour founder and CEO Chris St. Hilaire comments: 'We've already built a strong foundation by connecting first-party behavioral and survey data to a single opted-in consumer identity. The next phase is about continuing to scale that intelligence and make it even more actionable for clients. Nikhil has spent his career building the teams and systems that make that possible, and he'll be a key part of how we continue advancing DANI and Full Journey Intelligence.'
