STRAT7 Hires to Boost Offer for Financial Services Clients

Former American Express insights leader Sarah Guggino has joined British-based MR firm STRAT7 in the new role of Global Client Strategy and Insight Partner, effective immediately. She will focus on growing the company's partnerships with key global clients, with a focus on financial services.

Sarah GugginoThe STRAT7 Group is headquartered in London with offices in Amsterdam, Leeds, New York and Sydney, and employs more than 400 people. The Group Consists of seven agencies, all with names prefaced by STRAT7: Advisory, Audiences, Bonamy Finch, Crowd DNA, Incite, Jigsaw and Researchbods. Last week it announced a new deal with Irish research consultancy Amárach Research, allowing it to expand its proprietary research panel capability in the Republic of Ireland.

Guggino (pictured) spent more than a dozen years at AmEx, most recently as Director of Insights, Global Brand and Advertising. Prior to joining the company in 2013 as Premium Product Insights Manager she was an Account Director at The Pert Group; and she began her career with Project and Research Assistant roles for the House of Representatives and the University of Connecticut.

The appointment is part of a drive to 'bring [STRAT7's] sector knowledge and specialist capabilities together around the needs of clients.' She will also work closely with teams developing Nucleus, STRAT7's proprietary AI hub.

'She knows what clients need from their insight partners and how to make insight more useful inside a complex global organisation. Sarah's appointment will help us deepen our relationships with key global clients, bring more of the group's capabilities to the market and accelerate our growth there.'
