New NZ MD for TNS
TNS has promoted Gary Lembit to Managing Director of its Auckland office, further aligning its New Zealand and Australian operations. Lembit moved to the office earlier this year from TNS Australia where he was National Director of Finance and Business Services.
The previous Auckland MD, Murray Campbell, moved into a regional role as the Head of the Polling and Social sector, last month - one of three senior NZ researchers to 'go regional' so far this year (see DRNO www.mrweb.com/drno/news5690.htm TNS Kiwis Continue Regional Mission). TNS also has an MD for its Wellington office, Jude Varcoe. Both NZ MDs now report to Chris Riquier, Managing Director, Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia).
Stephen Jenke, Regional Director for ALM Operations; South Asia and Oceania, said Lembit's appointment reflects his significant strengths in the areas of business development and client management.
