TNS Kiwis Continue Regional Mission

July 7 2006

TNS has today announced the appointment of Murray Campbell, former TNS New Zealand MD, to head up the company's Polling and Social-Government research sector across its ALM region. Campbell is the third man from TNS NZ to win recent promotion to a regional role.

Campbell will also take responsibility for Travel and Leisure sector developments in ALM, which is the Group's recently created super-region comprising Asia Pacific-Latin America-Middle East and Africa.

According to Regional Managing Director, ALM, James Hall, 'This move is consistent with our global strategy to focus on sector development. We are already the global leader in Social and Government research and our intention is to build on this as well as strengthen our position in tourism related research.'

Murray's appointment comes shortly after the moves of Lee Ryan and Graeme Jacombs to Singapore, to take responsibility for regional qual development and healthcare sector development, respectively. Hall comments: 'These appointments point to the extremely strong capability that has been developed in New Zealand and is now being used to complement our strength across the 30 countries in the region outside North America and Europe in which we have offices.'
