Reid Makes Third Hire from Ipsos
Another former Ipsos researcher has joined the senior team for Angus Reid's new agency: Chris Ferneyhough becomes a Vice President, based in Calgary.
The new firm has already hired two senior staff from Ipsos, the global agency which bought the Angus Reid Group back in 2000: President Ed Morawski (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5953.htm ) and Senior VP and regional MD Monique Morden (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5977.htm ).
Ferneyhough will take a leadership role on key projects for the company and assist in managing the Calgary office. He spent ten years with Ipsos, the last five as a VP, and specialised in technology research including software, telecoms and Internet markets. He was also the Project Director for the Inter@ctive Reid Report, a comprehensive analysis of Canadians and the Internet, was frequently quoted in the Globe & Mail, and appeared on ROB-TV, CBC, and CTV discussing internet trends.
He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
