Springboard Opens in Casablanca

Technology researcher Springboard has opened a global research centre in Casablanca, Morocco, to serve its clients in the Middle East and Africa.

The firm provides a suite of market research services in the region including custom, primary and syndicated research, all of which are focused on helping technology vendors better understand and capture technology opportunities in the area.

CEO Dane Anderson explained that the Middle East and Africa represent a big opportunity for the firm, and said Springboard would fill the gap caused by a 'lack of good market data and information upon which the IT industry can make informed decisions'.

Anderson added: 'We see incredibly versatile talent in Morocco that will help to fuel not only our expansion in the Middle East and Africa, but also our global ambitions. As the world moves to global delivery, it is key that we further expand the language, geographic, and research skills of our organisation to better serve our clients as well as driving the efficiencies of our research model.'

The new office will be led by James Erickson, who has been working on the Middle East and Africa expansion for the past year.

Founded in 2004, Springboard provides IT market research from its offices in the USA, Australia (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6494.htm ), Singapore and Japan (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6415.htm ) and research centres in India and Pakistan. Web site: www.springboardresearch.com.
