Reshuffled Dexterity 'To Grow Aggressively'

Research outsourcing and analytics firm Dexterity has announced that co-founder Palanivel Kuppusamy is retaking the role of Chairman and CEO from Anantha (Krish) Krishnan who moves into a strategic advisor role.

Kuppusamy founded Dexterity in 1999 and held the roles until early 2008 when Krishnan joined the company, following its decision to move beyond Technology and KPO into Marketing and Customer Informatics. Kuupusamy says Krishnan has 'put in place best practices and processes and helped Dexterity move up the value chain', and believes the company now has the momentum to 'grow aggressively'. He expands: 'Dexterity is well poised to capture a significant share of the USD 32-billion Marketing and Customer Informatics market. Over the last three years, the revenues of the company have more than tripled. In the context of the global recession, there is a huge need and opportunity for Market and Customer Analytics.'

Krishnan says that in his role as advisor he is 'also looking forward to helping the industry build complementary capabilities to make India the destination of choice for the Marketing and Customer Informatics business.'

Kuppusamy, a Management postgraduate from IIM Indore and an Engineering graduate from the Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, worked previously at firms including ACNielsen, NMR, Dun & Bradstreet and Cognizant Technology Solutions.
