Research Now Adds Flash Tools

Online research and panels specialist Research Now has added four new tools to its Rich Media toolkit, which provides clients with Flash survey enhancements.

The toolkit was launched in 2007 to provide clients with standardised Flash-enabled survey questions as packaged add-ons that can be inserted into online surveys. Its new tools include:
  • The 'Slider Kit' - a set of Flash-enabled slider tools for scale questions
  • The 'Multi-Logo' tool - for representing a large number of brands visually on-screen
  • The 'Ratement' tool - an interactive way to break up a large number of rating questions
  • The 'Media Player' - a Flash-enabled tool for playing video clips.
Research Now says the tools present 'more sophisticated survey programming for today's digitally-mature respondent'. They are now available in the UK and will be rolled out to France and Germany later this month.

Research Now recently reported a 60% increase in group revenues to £41.2m for 2008, compared with £25.8m a year previously. Profit before tax was £5.7m, compared with £0.3m in 2007.
