In the UK, children’s charity NCB has appointed Ivana LaValle as Director of Research, Evidence and Evaluation. She replaces Jane Lewis, who is leaving to become a Director of Research in Practice in Dartington.

LaValle will join in November from the National Centre for Social Research, where she has worked since 1998, and for the last six years, has been Director of the Families and Children Group practice.

Barbara Hearn, Deputy CEO commented: ‘Ivana is a highly competent and experienced researcher with a strong reputation in government and amongst her peers. Her background focuses on ensuring research is effectively disseminated to policy and practice professionals, and we are delighted that she is joining us at NCB.’

Established in 1963, NCB is dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of all children and young people across every aspect of their lives, as well as providing them with a voice.
