Martin Brock and James LewisIn the UK, The Oxford Research Agency (TORA) has expanded its FMCG team with the appointment of Martin Brock as Associate Director and James Lewis as Trainee Research Executive.

Brock previously spent four years with ACNielsen BASES, and four years with Research International. His background is in NPD research, focusing on volumetric forecasting.

Lewis recently graduated from the University of St Andrews, where he gained an MA in International Relations.

Joint MD Andrew Tharme commented: ‘Martin brings over eight years NPD research experience and will enable us to continue to grow the business by providing excellence in FMCG consumer research for our clients. James joins at a junior level and we are delighted to have both of them on board.’

In May, TORA appointed Jackie Tarran as Head of FMCG Research and promoted Catherine Elms to Associate Director.

More recently, the firm launched a qual operation called Mimosa, to offer joined-up qual/quant thinking in the FMCG, retail and shopper insight, customer satisfaction and OTC sectors.
