Sandra LadesSandra Lades has been appointed as Manager of the newly created Press Office at the non-profit organization GfK Association.

The Association was established in 1934 to develop innovative research methods in cooperation with scientific institutions; promote the training and further education of market researchers; and study developments in society, the economy and politics and to research their impact on consumers.

Its membership consists of approximately 600 companies and individuals, and the organisation is also a shareholder in the GfK Group.

Lades joins with many years of experience in the market research, marketing and press relations sectors. She began her career in market research in 1994 when she joined GfK television audience research, where her responsibilities included marketing in Germany and managing various international media research projects and tenders.

From 2001 to 2002, she was Director of PR and Marketing at Internet and digital media market research agency Jupiter MMXI.

Most recently, Lades was responsible for international marketing at GfK Group’s Custom Research sector, where she supervised a number of marketing projects and managed media relations for the firm’s Investment Barometer and Trust Index.
