Digital ad solutions firm Solbright has appointed former Nielsen executive John Nives as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.

Solbright provides tools to help web sites manage the entire spectrum of their online advertising operations.

Nives joins with more than 25 years’ experience of building technology-driven information companies. During his career, he was a senior executive with Nielsen Marketing and Media Research where he served as SVP, General Manager for Consumer Direct, the Nielsen and Yahoo! joint venture, and SVP, Sales and Marketing for Nielsen//Net Ratings.

Prior to this, he was SVP Sales at analytics business intelligence start-up 4RSystems, VP General Manager of Nielsen/MTS HealthTrack, and EVP at Information Resources Inc (IRI). Nives started his career as a Marketing Manager at Kraft General Foods.
