US retail insights specialist Information Resources Inc. (IRI) has promoted Eva Vila Massanas to the post of Managing Director in Spain.
She joins with more than 15 years’ international experience in FMCG insights and consulting services. She was previously IRI’s European Marketing Director in Spain, and before this held a number of client services, product marketing and communication roles with the firm.
She began her career in the US financial services industry, and then joined Coca-Cola’s German marketing department, where she worked for four years in the market research division. She holds an Economics Degree from the University of Barcelona and a BA from DePauw University in Indiana, US.
In her new role, she replaces Angelo Massaro, who was leading both the Spanish and Italian markets, and will now focus exclusively on the further development of IRI’s Italian business.
