AIM-listed traffic and transportation survey specialist Sky High has appointed Peter Agnew as Commercial Manager, to assist the growth of its Data Capture business unit. Established in 1989, Sky High was the first UK company in the UK to use video recording to increase the accuracy and completeness of traffic flow counts; and now carries out traffic surveys across Australia and in mainland Europe, Africa and China as well throughout the British Isles. Its services have expanded to include automatic traffic counter systems, manual surveys, roadside interviews, GPS journey time surveys, car parking surveys and air quality monitoring. Agnew is currently Technical Director for construction firm Jacobs Engineering but is also an associate member of the MRS, a facet which Sky High CEO Mark Mattison intends to draw upon to assist the growth of the firm’s Data Capture section, ‘bringing together two closely allied industries, Traffic Data Collection, and Market Research’.
