In the US, communications firm Qorvis has promoted Gautam Chatur to the position of Managing Director. Formed in 2000, Qorvis provides public and media relations, advertising, public affairs, investor relations and financial services communications, as well as Internet-based campaigns, social media strategies, and research and opinion surveys. Chatur, who joined the firm last year, is a lead strategist who performs detailed evaluations of clients’ business environments, to help them design insight-driven digital strategies. He previously carried out interactive and technology consulting projects at consultancy Sapient, where he was responsible for search marketing/web analytics campaigns for clients. Managing Partner Michael Petruzzello said he is please to recognize Chatur, who is ‘contributing so much to our success, and who will help guide Qorvis into its next decade’.
