US-based market research and consulting firm Chadwick Martin Bailey (CMB) has appointed former Marketing Corporation of America executive Dan Gersten as Account Director for its Financial Services practice. Founded in 1984 by John Martin and Anne Bailey Berman, the company has corporate headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, serving clients in more than 30 countries around the globe. Gersten joins with over 20 years’ market research experience, working with clients in the financial services and consumer product industries. Most recently, he ran his own firm, Dan Gersten & Associates. For the prior 12 years he worked with Marketing Corporation of America and before this, he carried out assignments with General Foods, Citicorp, American Express, Chase, General Electric, Monsanto, Johnson & Johnson, Rodale, 3M & WellPoint Health Networks. In his new role, he will focus on the insurance and healthcare categories, reporting to MD Jim Garrity who comments: ‘Dan is a great addition to the Financial Services and Healthcare practice and will be instrumental in our growth.
