US healthcare market research agency The Willow Group has appointed David Ireland as Vice President of New Business Development.
Ireland joins with 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he worked as VP, Business Development at Adelphi Group Products. Before this, he was Account Director at Consumer Health Science and Director, Data Management at IMS Health. Earlier in his career, he held various roles at McNeil Pharmaceuticals and Merck-Medco Managed Care.
In his new position, Ireland will be responsible for collaborating with pharma clients to address strategic business issues and provide custom market research solutions.
‘Our goal is to be the top rated market research company in the healthcare sector,’ said President Bill Fergus. ‘With Mr Ireland joining our team, we are another step closer to achieving that goal.’
Ireland will be working from the firm’s east coast office in Princeton, NJ.
