Medical market research and consulting firm PearlDiver Technologies has appointed Samuel F. Figg as Director of Research, leading the analyst team on standardized and custom data analysis requests. Figg spent more than twenty years in product planning and management, business development, marketing and research at Warsaw, Indiana-based Zimmer, before most recently joining medical device exec recruitment firm Lake City Group. Before Zimmer, he worked at Abbott Laboratories and Life Instruments, both in suburban Chicago. He also has clinical experience, from spells as a cardiopulmonary technologist with an open heart surgery team at National Jewish Hospital in Denver and as a surgical technician at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Based in Fort Wayne and with offices in Colorado Springs and suburban Philadelphia, PearlDiver began operations in January 2007 and works mostly with medical device manufacturers, on projects from clinical studies to business development.
