Patty ClarkIn the US, youth and family research specialist Smarty Pants has appointed former McDonald’s researcher Patty Clark as Senior Research Director, to help lead its qual and quant departments.

Headquartered in Johnson City, TN, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Myrtle Beach, SC, Smarty Pants conducts research with kids, tweens, teens, parents and influencers to help guide brand positioning, product development and analysis of consumer lifestyle trends.

Clark joins with more than 15 years’ youth and family consumer research experience. Most recently, she was Research Director, US Consumer & Business Insights at McDonald’s Corporation, where she spent five years leading consumer research on kids, moms and the ‘Happy Meal’ brand.

Prior to this she was a Research Analyst on the Kellogg’s and Keebler brands at Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago.
