US-based data collection agency Universal Survey has appointed Greg Kotovos as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Established in 1997, Universal Survey employs 65 people full-time, a large staff of web and CATI programmers, and more than 1,000 part-time.

In the summer, the firm and its partner Survey Healthcare established physician and healthcare professional panels across the major European, Asian, and Russian markets, in addition to their existing US and Canadian panels.

Kotovos joins with more than 15 years’ business development, marketing, and sales management experience. Most recently he worked at market research and concept testing specialist Q Research Solutions as Director of Business Development. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Greenroom Investments, Hitachi Consulting, Qwest Communications and Expedient Services.

Commenting on the appointment, Chief Strategy Officer Larry Schneider said: ‘Greg’s innovative methods and proven track record will help drive Universal’s already unprecedented growth to new heights, while providing the process and structure needed to sustain our award winning client service.’
