Hugh McGoranOnline measurement specialist comScore has appointed Hugh McGoran as Senior Vice President of US Ad Agency Sales. McGoran will focus on helping clients use existing services to enhance media planning and ad effectiveness measurement.

An Internet ad veteran, he worked previously at Turn, where he led the company’s sales team. Prior to this, he served as SVP Sales at semantic targeting specialist Peer39, and spent time at TACODA as VP of Eastern Advertising Sales. Following the acquisition of TACODA by AOL/Time Warner in 2007, he led the TACODA sales integration into AOL’s Platform A and was appointed sales lead for AOL’s behavioral targeting effort.

Earlier in his career, McGoran was VP of Advertising Sales at Real Cities, a national network of regional and vertical web sites created and operated by Knight Ridder Digital, and he worked as Director of Interactive Advertising at Lorel Marketing.
