UK B2B intelligence provider Blue Sheep has appointed Steve Klin as Managing Director, to take control of its Cheltenham-based operations from February. Blue Sheep, which was established in 1986, develops models for segmenting markets, predicting propensity to consume and share of wallet, as well as potential future growth paths and new business opportunities. Klin joins with more than 12 years’ industry experience in B2B and B2C analytics, digital, CRM and customer data integration. Most recently, he worked at marketing software firm smartFOCUS, where since 2004 he held senior management positions including Sales Director and MD (Europe). Prior to this, he was Sales Director at engagement analytics software provider Alterian, where he was responsible for direct business development and UK partner sales. Earlier in his career, he co-founded retail e-commerce analytics company eWare, which was subsequently acquired by GB Group.
