In the US, trade body The Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) has elected Ron Welty - founder and President of IntelliShop - to the post of Vice President.
The MSPA has more than 400 member companies worldwide, including MR and merchandising companies, private investigation firms, and training organizations in addition to mystery shopping firms.
Welty set up IntelliShop in 1999 and now employs 61 staff. The firm has been an MSPA member since 2000, and Welty has served on the MSPA Board of Directors for six years.
Welty said he was honoured to continue his service on the MSPA Board. ‘I’m committed to helping spread the word so that even more clients will know the value that a mystery shopping program can bring to them, and why they should select an MSPA member for those programs,’ he added.
