Panel specialist Research Now has promoted Adam Portner to the post of Senior Vice President of Client Development in San Francisco, while relocating Martin Tomlinson from New Zealand to Singapore, where it has also appointed Ying Li. Prior to joining in 2008, Portner (pictured) served as VP of Client Services and Operations for MarketTools, and also worked for Information Resources Inc (IRI), where he spent 12 years in client services, sales and consulting roles. In his new role, he oversees the firm’s US West, Midwest, and Canada client development teams. The firm has also promoted Tomlinson to the post of Client Development Director for Research Now Asia, from his former role where he was responsible for sales and support activities in New Zealand and oversaw the opening of the company’s Auckland office. He has now relocated to Singapore. Li has also joined the Asia team as Client Development Manager, reporting to Tomlinson. She has more than five years’ experience in online research, panel, and project management, and most recently served as Business Development Manager for Survey Sampling International (SSI).
