In the US, independent online video measurement firm Visible Measures has recruited Chris Harris, formerly Director of Engineering - Video Platform Team for Yahoo!, for the role of Vice President of Engineering.
At Yahoo! Harris was responsible for developing the Internet giant’s video player experience, and building and maintaining video management tools. Before this he worked at online video platform provider Maven Networks, acquired by Yahoo! in 2008.
Harris will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining the technologies behind the patented Visible Measures platform and Viral Reach Database™, a repository of over 375 million videos collected from over 300 video destination sites.
