UK marcoms group Media Square - which owns research agency Illuminas - has promoted Dean Wright to the post of Group Chief Financial Officer.
Wright joined Media Square in 2005 as Group Financial Accountant, since when he has served as Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller. Prior to this, he was a Divisional Financial Controller at Fleetwood Corporation Limited in Australia, after a spell in the corporate finance team at GlaxoSmithKline.
Wright replaces Bruce Winfield who died in March following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Group CEO Peter Reid said of Wright’s promotion: ‘Dean has been acting CFO for the last ten months and has played a central role in the group's restructuring and refinancing. In the past ten months he has shown real leadership at a difficult time for the finance team.’
