Kirsty McKissockIn the UK, full service social research specialist Research Resource has appointed former mruk Director Kirsty McKissock as a Senior Consultant.

Glasgow-based Research Resource was formed in 2004 by Lorna Shaw and Elaine MacKinnon. The firm manages both qual and quant projects using in-house field, CATI and analysis capabilities and a range of techniques including on-street and postal surveys, citizen panels, depths and focus groups.

McKissock joins from Cello-owned social research agency mruk, where she worked for the past 14 years, latterly as Research Director. During her time with the firm, she was responsible for undertaking social and market research for a number of key clients with a presence in Scotland.

Her background includes communications development and evaluation, brand development and evaluation, customer satisfaction and media research, working with both private and public sector clients.

Commenting on the appointment, Shaw said: ‘We’re delighted to have Kirsty join our team. She brings a wealth of marketing and communications research experience which complements our strong social and economic research background.’
