Discovery Research | May 26 2011 |
UK qual specialist Discovery Research has promoted Matt Haydock to the role of Research Consultant.
Founded in 1995 by Ken and Trish Parker, Discovery has grown into a group with three businesses: full service agency Discovery Research, viewing facility Spectrum, and most recently The Thinking Shed, a qualitative researcher’s tool.
Haydock joined Discovery as a graduate trainee in 2007 and has worked with a broad range of clients across advertising, new media, gambling and social research. He became a Research Executive in 2008 while setting up Discovery’s in-house video editing output, and an SRE a year later, since when he has specialised in the financial, investments and gambling sectors and immersed himself in a range of techniques including online qual, ethnography and co-creation.
MD Trish Parker says: ‘I’m delighted to see Matt progressing in the company; he brings tremendous commitment and enthusiasm to his work, as well as expertise - all qualities that our clients appreciate. We spotted Matt as a high flier from the start and were keen to help him develop his career with us.’
