In the UK, tech specialist ABI Research has appointed Joshua Flood as Research Analyst, Smart Energy and Smart Grids in its global automotive and clean energy technologies practice.
The practice covers research into areas such as smart energy and smart grid, renewable energy generation and storage, photovoltaic and wind power, energy harvesting, home energy management systems, and e-waste recovery and recycling.
Flood joins from Harris Interactive, where he worked as an Account Manager on custom research projects in the business, industrial and consumer sectors. He began his career as a Market Analyst with IMS Research.
