US technology consultancy Yankee Group has appointed former Coleman Research exec Simon Rodd as a Portfolio Manager in its European sales team, based in the London office. With headquarters in Boston and London, Yankee Group has a global presence, including operations in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Before served as Senior Director of Institutional Sales at Coleman, Rodd spent five years as Senior Director of Business Development for Healthcare and Life Sciences at Frost & Sullivan, managing a 13-member sales team across the EMEA region. Earlier in his career he was Business Development Manager at Thomson Dialog/Profound and Sales Director at Greenergy International.
