Eric JohnIn New York, The Audit Bureau of Circulations has named Eric John Vice President of its digital arm ABC Interactive (ABCi), with a remit to manage the development of product and services, while overseeing day-to-day operations such as auditing and client services.

ABC represents North America's magazine and newspaper publishers, advertisers and ad agencies, while maintaining an online database of audited circulation information and an array of readership, audience and web site usage data through ABCi.

John joins from digital ad network Adknowledge, where he was Head of Marketing. Before this, he spent three years at Nokia as Director, Developer/Publisher Marketing, heading global activities for the firm’s developer communities. He earlier worked as Senior Director, Ad Product Marketing at Yahoo! and as Director, Product Management at DoubleClick.

In his new role he will also implement strategies to promote the ABCi brand, and build business relationships with digital publishers, media buyers, technology developers and trade groups.
