Dr Martin LautmanDr Martin Lautman, the former CEO and Chairman of GfK Custom Research North America, has joined cross-platform ad effectiveness measurement specialist Symphony Advanced Media (SAM), as a member of its Advisory Board.

SAM is part of the Symphony Technology Group, which has a portfolio of companies including SymphonyIRI, Impact RX, Teleca and EYC.

Lautman joins with a 25-year background in the market research industry, and was the Senior MD of market research agency ARBOR Inc, prior to selling it to GfK in 2005 and taking up his post at the new parent firm.

Since leaving GfK, Lautman has been an active venture capital investor focusing on marketing research, marketing services and technology companies. He is currently the Managing Partner of Marketing Channels, and a member of multiple public and private Boards of Directors.
