Opinion Matters
February 23 2012

Chris JensenMrWeb's former Marketing Manager Chris Jensen has joined communications-driven research specialist Opinion Matters as an Account Manager, with responsibility for co-ordinating and managing client projects.

From its offices in Clerkenwell, London, Opinion Matters uses the results of its market research studies to help clients generate media headlines and create coverage that highlight and reinforce their brands. It also manages dedicated panels which focus on consumers, business decision makers, parents and teachers, and in 2010, the company partnered with children's newspaper First News to launch the First News Research panel of 7-14 year olds.

Jensen (pictured) joins from market research news and jobs site MrWeb, where he initially worked as an Administrator and latterly, served as Marketing Manager. Prior to this, he spent a brief spell as a Recruitment Consultant at marketing services recruitment consultancy Major Players; worked for new business agency Alchemis as New Business Manager responsible for clients in the market research sector; and was a Recruitment Consultant at RPCushing.

Commenting on his appointment, Opinion Matters' MD Karen Brooks said: 'Finding the right people for our business is difficult because we're not just research and we're not PR' even though our work often fulfils a PR remit. When I met Chris I knew his manner and style of communication matched ours. He'll be able to provide strong consultation to our clients, create good angles for editorial content, and develop questions to highlight their key messages.'

MrWeb News Editor Mel Crowther wished Chris every success in his new career from all his former colleagues in the team.
