In Singapore, GfK Asia has appointed retail veteran Lawrence Yeow as Regional Retail Director.
Yeow joins from Watson’s Personal Care Store in Singapore, where he served as Operations Director. Prior to this, he held retail operations roles at British Petroleum and United Overseas Bank.
In his new role, he reports to Stanley Kee, MD of GfK Southeast Asia, who comments: ‘Lawrence has extensive retail background across a myriad of sectors which renders him well-equipped to take charge of GfK’s retail business. With his broad understanding and knowledge of franchisee management, fuel retailing, merchandising and marketing planning, he is able to translate the consumer research needs of the region’s retail associations and key business bodies synergistically to help retailers deliver their sales and profit targets.’
