The NPD Group has named Tammy Peterson Director of Advanced Analytics, overseeing projects for its automotive business unit and corporate research science group.
She was previously Director of Consumer Insights at consumer purchase data specialist Concept Shopping, and has extensive experience of areas including store-level data and advanced analytics, testing applications, purchase panels and marketing mix modeling.
In her new role, based in the firms’s Chicago office, she reports directly to Dawn Zieren, President of Automotive, working on advanced analysis and point of sale strategy for the automotive aftermarket, motor fuels and convenience retailing industries. She will also work with VP of Corporate Research Science Steve Romei, to develop advanced analytic approaches for point-of-sale services.
