Nielsen has appointed Patricia Chiu as Vice President of Client Consulting, BASES Hong Kong. Chiu joins with more than 10 years’ market research experience. She worked previously for FMCG market modeling specialist IPSOS Novaction Consultants in Hong Kong, where she held a number of senior roles. Chiu is a graduate from the University of Southern California, where she majored in Philosophy and Mechanical Engineering. In her new role, Chiu will lead the BASES Market & Brand Advisor service in the region, reporting to Karthik Rao, MD, Nielsen Bases, Asia, Pacific & India. Nielsen recently expanded its BASES operation with a new office in Delhi, India, and through its United Arab Emirates office.
