In New Zealand, market analyst IDC NZ has appointed a number of new members of staff at its Auckland office. The latest additions take the total of staff in the country to eleven.
Yael Lord joins as Senior Analyst, Telecoms, to track, forecast and provide strategic analysis on the NZ telecoms market, with a specific focus on enterprise networks and IP-based convergence, collaboration and unified communications solutions. Lord previously held senior project management roles at Accenture.
Rasika Versleijen-Pradhan takes up the post of Senior Analyst, Business Enablement: IT Services Research. In this role, her primary focus is to analyse demand and key market opportunities for IT service providers throughout the country. She previously worked for IDC EMEA in the Amsterdam office, and before this for Mitsubishi Motors European HQ based in Amsterdam. At Mitsubishi, she managed a team of sales analysts and was responsible for researching market trends, competitor analysis and price positioning.
Carl Ellish becomes Sales Executive, with a focus on business development and strategic account management. In his new role, he is also responsible for creating services across IDC's service portfolio including research, benchmarking, consulting and integrated marketing programs.
Commenting on the appointments, Ullrich Loeffler, Country Manager, IDC NZ said: ‘Our recent appointments underline that IDC puts its money where its mouth is, and we are convinced that the additional expertise will assist New Zealand companies in identifying and realising opportunities.’
