GMO Rebrands to Underline AI Commitment

Asia-focused online MR specialist GMO Research Inc. has officially rebranded as GMO Research & AI, Inc., reflecting what it says is its mission 'to lead the way in adopting AI technologies to enhance efficiency, create new value, and drive productivity across industries'.

Shinichi HosokawaThe Tokyo-based firm provides clients with access to a network of panellists ranging from consumers to CEOs. Its Asia Cloud Panel boasts around 50 million consumers in sixteen Asian countries, and in September last year was enhanced with a new feature identifying and excluding ghost completes. In November it followed up with the launch of an API connection method called Organic Sampling.

The company now says it is 'dedicated to leveraging AI to drive innovation and revolutionize the industry... in response to the rapid advancements in AI technology, and with a strong market presence commanding approximately a 70% share of Japan's marketing research industry'.
