Senior Changes at MARU Group

Research and advisory services provider MARU Group has promoted Steve Brockway to the new position of Managing Director of MARU Operations Group UK, as Board member Liz Boffey moves into his old role as MD for Maru/edr.

Steve Brockway and Liz BoffeyMARU Group was founded early last year, is led by former Synovate/Ipsos Global CEO Ged Parton, and is backed by private equity finance company Primary Capital Partners. Its first acquisition was of Hampshire, UK-based eDigitalResearch, which offers a range of solutions including customer experience management, voice of the customer feedback and multichannel consumer insight, and now operates as Maru/edr, with a staff of 150.

Brockway previously served as MD of Maru/edr, having worked for the company / eDigital for the past decade. According to the firm, Brockway's commercial leadership and experience will be essential in the new role, as the team get ready to support the expansion of MARU through further acquisitions in 2017. Boffey, who currently serves as Chief Delivery Officer, joined the firm in 2015, after a career which involved senior client-side roles at Birdseye, Pepsico and Walt Disney.

Both Maru/edr and the UK MARU Operations Group will continue to operate as one business under Maru/edr. Commenting on the management changes, Parton said: 'Maru/edr is beautifully placed to grow and develop further in 2017. The business has continued its impressive journey over the past twelve months and under Liz's new leadership will deliver on the commitment to paint better pictures faster for clients'.
