comScore Hires CIO, Promotes for CTO Role

In the US, comScore has appointed Joseph Rostock as Chief Information Officer, leading the technology division, and at the same time promoted Yvonne Bigbee to CTO, reporting to him.

Joseph RostockRostock (pictured) most recently served as CTO of data-driven tech firm Inovalon, prior to which he was VP and Chief Technologist for The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). Earlier in his career, he spent 25 years at communications technology provider Verizon; joining as a Software Engineer, and later becoming a Senior Fellow. In his capacity as Executive Director, he oversaw the consolidation of wholesale and retail IT teams into a single organization, supporting an $8 bn business unit and managing a workforce of 1,400 global software engineering professionals.

Bigbee has already held the CTO role on an interim basis since Michael Brown resigned in the summer. Prior to her promotion, she served as EVP, managing the company's global software engineering staff. She joined comScore in 2001, having previously held roles at Intuit and Accenture, and will now oversee all technology development functions.

Rostock will report to COO Cameron Meierhoefer, who comments: 'Joe is both a technology veteran and change agent with a track record of driving innovation, galvanizing large teams, and getting results. As we work to measure a dynamic, cross-platform world, Joe brings formidable expertise, infectious energy and strong business management to our team at just the right moment. Throughout her tenure, Yvonne has contributed significant innovations and emerged as an important senior leader with a tireless commitment to comScore. I'm confident her contributions will continue and be amplified under this new organizational structure'.
