FocusVision Names Chief Product and Technology Officer

In New York, survey and customer insights software provider FocusVision has appointed Henry Harbury as Chief Product and Technology Officer, charged with driving cross-company innovation to advance the company's flagship solutions.

Henry HarburyFocusVision was founded in 1990 as a provider of live video transmissions of qualitative research, but its former owner SV Investment Partners expanded its coverage through the acquisition of several businesses to build an end-to-end MR technology service provider. In 2015 the firm was acquired by its management team, with support from private equity group EQT. Aside from MR tech firm Decipher, FocusVision also acquired software firm Kinesis Survey Technologies, Qualvu and its qual intelligence platform 24Tru; Research Reporter developer Insight Marketing Systems; research tool developer Revelation Global; and MR video streaming firm ActiveGroup.

Harbury (pictured) is a co-founder of software engineering and consulting firm TeamTek Solutions, and most recently served as CTO of mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) solutions provider moovel North America (becoming REACHNOW). Earlier, he spent a decade at Act-On Software, which uses customer behavior, preferences and data to guide engagement strategies. He joined the company as VP of Engineering and its first employee, and latterly served as CTO, setting the vision for its technology roadmap, system architecture and business systems. Harbury has also published more than 27 articles in peer-reviewed journals and scientific conference publications.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Zlatko Vucetic said: 'Henry's background in technology, and especially martech, is important as we continue to evolve FocusVision and our products to further enable brands to integrate the data collection to martech platforms and similar technologies.
