Kadence Boosts AsiaPac Regional Fieldwork Offer

Kadence Asia Pacific has appointed Joseph Tan to its newly created role of Fieldwork Client Services Manager, to provide a central contact for international clients looking to undertake research in the region.

Tan joins the Singapore office with more than five years' experience coordinating and managing fieldwork for Synovate, Asian Insight Research Consultants and TNS. In his previous roles, Tan managed teams of up to 3,000 fieldworkers - organising study groups, and implementing face-to-face and telephone projects for multinational corporations.

His new role will involve overseeing field research activity for local and international clients who are planning to commission research in the Asia Pacific region. He will also manage multi-language interviewer recruitment.

Commenting on the appointment, Piers Lee, CEO of Kadence Asia Pacific said: 'We envisage that the importance of this role will continue to grow as the regional business market maintains its steady commercial development and offers international organisations new and exciting profitable opportunities.'

Founded in 1985, B2B research specialist Kadence has offices in Boston, London, Delhi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Sydney. Last October the company launched in India and announced plans to open further offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 2007 (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6045.htm ). In January Kadence opened a dedicated healthcare division in Asia (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6387.htm ). The firm is on the web at www.kadence.com.
