Record Quarter for Vovici
In Q2, survey software and EFM specialist Vovici has achieved record growth in its Software as a Service (SaaS) business and in renewals from existing customers. SaaS bookings increased 157% over the firm's Q1 2008 performance, and 138% over the same period in 2007.
 According to Chairman and CEO Dean Wiltse: 'Our financial performance in the quarter just ended is a direct reflection of the aggressive investments we have made in expanding our sales organization and in our product development efforts.'
At the beginning of Q2, Vovici introduced its Community Builder to help companies launch their own community panels and web sites, and made enhancements to its core EFM-Community product. Wiltse says the firm has received a 'tremendous response' to these products, and that this is reflected in Q2's strong financial performance.
As part of this growth, Vovici has added to its customer ranks; achieving a 92% increase in Q1 in the number of contracts worth more than $100,000 in annual SaaS revenue and signing many contracts in excess of $50,000.
Wiltse adds that the firm has recently brought in a number of leaders to head the firm's finance, product management, development, services, support and renewal teams; expanded its enterprise sales group and enhanced its customer support.
Vovici, which was formed from the merger of Perseus and WebSurveyor last April, provides online survey software, online community creation, panel management, analysis and reporting, and research services.
