CASRO – the US-based Council of American Survey Research Organizations – has named its 2010 Board and welcomed three new Board members. Susan McDonald, CEO of National Analysts Worldwide, will take up the post of Chair in 2011, having served on the CASRO Board since 2005. She will replace Kevin Menk, Managing Partner of Strategic Resource Partners, once he completes his term. McDonald is a specialist in the application of forecasting techniques to healthcare markets, having supported the launch of many pharmaceutical products and medical technologies in a wide range of therapeutic areas. She previously served as VP at Booz Allen Hamilton. The Gilmore Research Group’s CEO Robin Arnold was re-elected as Treasurer, and Roseanne Luth, CEO of Luth Research, was nominated to continue her role as Secretary. The new Board members are Jeffrey Resnick, President US Group at ORC; Jude Olinger, founder and CEO of The Olinger Group; and Rahul Sahgal, CEO of Annik Technology Services. During his 25-year career at ORC (Opinion Research Corporation), Resnick has held numerous leadership positions and is responsible for the development of the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll. He recently served as co-chair of the 2009 CASRO Annual Conference. Olinger’s company works with clients in a variety of industries, offering them an array of design, analysis, and methodological tools. Sahgal spent many years in the US working with market research firms, including NFO (now part of TNS). He started Annik, an international provider of market research and data analytics support services, after returning to India in 2000.
