ORC and CNN Cement Polling Relationship

January 15 2007

Opinion Research Corporation, recently acquired by infoUSA, has announced the establishment of a formal polling partnership with news and information network CNN. The two firms have been working together on individual contracts for around nine months.

Under the deal, the CNN Poll will be renamed as the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll. CNN's Political Director Sam Feist says ORC will play a key part in 'giving viewers the accurate and relevant information they demand to help them make decisions' in the run-up to the 2008 election. He adds: 'Opinion Research Corporation's reputation for independent, objective analysis and its excellent reputation in the industry make the firm the ideal polling partner for CNN.'

Jeffrey Resnick, MD of Opinion Research Corporation USA, says his firm is 'very pleased to join the CNN family' and that the association will reinforce the strength of the firm's brand within the global business community. 'We are very proud to be associated with an organization that is as passionate about integrity, objectivity, and accuracy as we are in the work we conduct on behalf of our global clientele.'

ORC's work to date for CNN includes national, speech reaction, state and flash/overnight polls.

CNN is a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner Company and is online at www.cnn.com . Opinion Research Corporation's home page is at www.opinionresearch.com .
